Subtle Pattern Mixing

I absolutely love black, white, and tan. It might just be my favorite color combination (right after magenta & turquoise). Add in some pattern mixing and we've got a pretty dope outfit! I love it when my outfits (including shoes) are 100% thrifted--yes!

Hey, everyone! I love, love, love this look that I'm rocking today. This week I plan on wearing my blazers--which is perfect timing given that it's so cold in my neck of the woods! Anyways, one of my co-workers said that my skirt is considered 'baker's plaid' which is associated with the aristocracy! I just thrifted it because it's partially wool and fits my waist. The things that we learn! Haha!

My goal is to post at least 3 outfits a week. Here's another brown inspired outfit that I wore to work today. The next time that I wear this skirt, I may pair it with a different top because I don't quite like how it looks in this photo.

Hey... long time no see! I've been a lady of leisure all summer... well, it's ending soon because my school's staff is due back next Tuesday.

On the house hunting tip, the sellers accepted our offer! So now we have to get a lawyer and inspection done as soon as possible. I don't think it will hit until we get the keys in our hands. It's still crazy exciting though!

Still living the 'lady of leisure' lifestyle. Training for staff (aka teacher workshops) start in about 2 weeks and I ain't ready!! I've basically been living in casual clothes for the last month but figured I'd document today's outfit. I actually like the darker red against the snow leopard blouse. I love, love, love earthy colors like brown, cinnamon, gold, cream, tan, etc. This outfit incorporates my love of earth tones and it is comfy too!
Wrap tops are all types of awesome for my figure. I'm thinking about joining in academichic's challenge to dress your best body part this week. I definitely love the shape of my breasts, my small waist, my back, my hips, and my legs. Hmmm... gotta think how I can do this while remaining presentable for work, lol!
