Brown Week Outfit #3

 

My goal is to post at least 3 outfits a week. Here's another brown inspired outfit that I wore to work today. The next time that I wear this skirt, I may pair it with a different top because I don't quite like how it looks in this photo.

I originally was going to wear these tops with my light orange shorts. My husband thought that the proportions were off, so then I threw these cargos on. I really like the result!

I'm on the hunt for a replacement for these sandals--preferably leather and a little bit lighter brown (dark tan, caramel, or tobacco). Please let me know if you see something within reason--I'm not trying to spend $100 on sandals!! haha!

This skirt is such a weird length--but I think I made it look less frumpy by wearing it with heels. I'm glad I held onto it as this weird length (midi length) is in style for the season. The colors kept reminding me of coffee all day long, haha! Every piece of this outfit has been remixed in one way or another.

While figuring out what items to include in the challenge, I knew I wanted to try different color schemes with this skirt. I've worn it with purple, lime, and pink. Cream and gray gives the skirt a soft feel which I love! I didn't include any pants in my chosen items so I've got to get real creative with my dresses and skirts. I'm up for the challenge!!
