TGIF! I originally wore some silver flats with this outfit but they have to go!! I thrifted them last weekend and they hurt the heck out of my feet (half size too small). Thankfully, I purchased them on 50% off day, so I didn't waste too much money. As for these pink flats that I have on in the picture? They're awesome!!

Seagreen Black and Gray

 This school year has been really hectic so far! Anyways, this color combination is inspired by Instyle's April 2012 pull out calender.  They recommended pairing seagreen, black, and gray together.  In the future, I think that I'm going to forgo tying the cardigan.  Other than that, this is something that I'll definitely be recreating sooner than later.

Navy & Turquoise

April's Instyle magazine has given me tons of ideas for new color pairings like this one--I really like the bright turquoise top against the neutral navy.

Super Stripes 2--Day One (Pink, Gray, and Purple)

I've decided to participate in this round of Megan Mae's fashion challenge--Stripes Week!  Surprisingly, I have a lot of striped items in my wardrobe.  This cardigan is newly thrifted and I love it! I'm all about the soft lavender and rose lately.

I really liked the way that this outfit came together! Originally, I wanted to wear my black pinstriped vest, however it did not come up far enough to really 'pop'. Then I was going to wear my black wedges, but switched them out for my tan loafers at the last minute. It's cute, menswear-esque, and slightly college prep all in one!

I went outside briefly today to run some errands. I like the effect of the two tops. In the future, I'm going to wear this with lighter colored pants and shoes.

I really like how Hillary combined both red & blue with stripes. Although I have a blue skirt, I decided at the last minute to rock pants. I think it came out fabulous! What do you think?
