Originally I was going to wear a studded black cardigan with a black lace peplum and black slacks... however I kept my youngest daughter home from school as a precaution since she was ill yesterday, hence the 'chillin' outfit. I posted an outfit photo in 2015--woohoo! Everything is thrifted except the slippers ;)

Back in this game...

So, here's to a new camera, new year, and new outfit photos. My main purpose for this blog is to have a place to document my style (r)evolution--good, bad, and ugly. Comments are always nice, however, it's not necessary for me to continue to do this. I ain't out here in these e-streets trying to make money off blogging, heck I'm just trying not to dress like a frumpy middle aged woman, ha! When I was consistently taking outfit photos, it was useful to be able to search what I wore the same time last year, or by color, or by clothing item, etc. I hope to continue to do this with gusto in 2015. Here is what has been inspiring my winter wardrobe as of late-- See you Monday January 5th!

I ain't dead yet!

This summer has been incredibly busy! Between attending five weeks of professional training for a new job and preparing our oldest daughter for her freshman year of college, I haven't had much time for pictures. Since our daughter took the camera that I primarily used to college with her, I'm on the hunt for a new camera. Any recommendations are appreciated (I'm partial to Canon, but am more concerned about finding something easy to use).

Eleven more working days 'till summer vacation!! Working with middle schoolers in June in a building without air conditioning separates the strong from the weak, haha! Let's hope that we don't get any more heat waves until AFTER June 19th!

New England Spring

After what seems like the longest winter, Spring is finally here! It's been consistently warm for the last few weeks. And guess what?!
