Week Two of School--Woohoo!

The kids are great--there's just a lot of them (30+ students per class--I teach 6th grade this year). Anyways, I'm digging this pattern mixing and received lots of compliments today. Every item in this outfit has been thrifted--yeah boy!

This or That Summer Challenge Outfit #5

So, I have really been digging this navy polka dot skirt lately. And hot pink is a neon color, right? And the celery cardigan? Well, it just 'goes' ;). Everything is thrifted! I have one more outfit planned for today that's going to be a stretch... but I'm excited to try it! Edited to add: I'll probably try that outfit after the challenge. Happy Father's Day!

Blue & Green

Sheila's blue and green outfit must have been on my mind when I pulled this scarf, blouse, and skirt combination from my closet this morning.  This definitely worked for a day of proctoring tests to my students.  Only 25 more days 'til the end of the school year!

P.S. With the exception of my shoes, this whole outfit is thrifted!

Navy Mix

In April's issue of Instyle magazine, they had a wonderful section featuring neutrals with a pop of color.  I loved how the bright pink and turquoise looked paired with navy and decided to give it a try.  This might be one of my favorite color combinations yet!
