Stripes and Paisley

Still getting used to taking pics with a tripod and timer, so the quality isn't the best. I must say that this is my favorite scarf/pashmina! It surprisingly goes with much of my wardrobe. Who knew that orange was such a unifying color?!

Hands down, my favorite thrift store is Savers/ Value Village. Although I do pop my head into consignment shops and Goodwill from time to time, Savers definitely has my heart! Here are some pictures from my latest haul:

Interview Day

Yesterday, I interviewed for a position with a non profit focused on girls empowerment. While it's an admirable job/profession, the salary would barely cover my living expenses. Back to the drawing board, I guess...

Pink & Tan

I really like how this infinity scarf pushes me to try new color combinations. In general, I have a new found appreciation for a good infinity scarf; it stays put throughout the day!

Change

Well, as of mid-March 2015, I am no longer a middle school teacher. It's bittersweet, but on the bright side, I have some savings (and massive support from family and friends) so I don't have to hit the ground running just yet. Now that I'm home to pick up and drop off my daughter to school, lately my wardrobe has been comfy and more on the creative casual side. Here's what I wore on Tuesday:
